Wonderfully comfortable leather flats with elastic Mary Jane straps and a cushioned footbed. Remonte shoes are built for walking. The one flaw is a light streak down the back of one heel where I got hit with water from a sprinkler and the leather dried unevenly. This is unnoticeable when the shoes are being worn (see photos).
Size 39 correlates to US 8.5 to 9.

@rogers_girl the 40 fits more like a 9 or 9 5. The 39 is a small 9 or a good 8 5. It's a great brand! so comfortable.
