Red Mill Standing Spaniel Carved Look Cast Dog

Offering my preowned RED MILL spaniel puppy figurine made from a compound of crushed pecan shells and resin that was first molded then hand detailed. It was coated with laquer by an artisan which gives it the look of a rich wood carving. It measures approx. 8” long x 4 1/2" tall x 3.5”wide Felt pads on the bottoms of the paws. Signed on the leg. Likely vintage, purchased at auction years ago (incorrectly represented as a wood carving) The Red Mill Mfg. Co was located in Virginia USA but closed in 2001. Displays nicely.
