Red Hot Dress by Maurice’s of San Angelo 1980s

This early 1980s boxy Red Hot dress is from a boutique store in San Angelo, Texas. Maurice’s offers private label clothing and tailoring to fit. The dress has had some alteration at the waist (see the pinking shears edges) Heavy cotton canvas. Brick red with black stripes and asymmetrical buttons. Has a skinny matching belt (one belt loop guide is gone). A couple of tiny stains. No size on tags but I call it a Volup Vintage dress. Most likely a 1980s 8-10 & would fit up to 12-14 today. Measurements are lay flat unless stated otherwise Pit to Pit 20 1/2” Waist 20 1/2” Shoulder to hem is 44” Arm opening at the shoulder to pit seam is 10” Neck opening is 9”
