BLACK TRANSFER WARE RECTANGLE SHAPED HARVEST SCENE PLATTER / TRAY Royal Staffordshire Rural Scenes by A. J. Wilkinson Ltd. of Great Britain Regd. No. 784849 Circa 1933-34 For consideration is this scenic plate/tray depicting a farm / harvest scene with men atop a huge hay pile loading a horse drawn cart below. There are chickens in the foreground. The border is one of my favorites, being a mix of farming implements including a rake, shovel and bee skep mixed with lattice, ivy and berries.
