A how to guide to spot Real vs Fake Naked 2 palette. Always google search before purchasing, theres blogs and videos. I almost got tricked into buying a fake one, always ASK FOR MORE PICTURES. If you see the seller has more than 5 or 6, THATS SHADY! Places like alibba ..etc sell a lot of fakes. Look at the brush, lettering and SERIAL NUMBER. ALWAYS. You have the right to tell posh before accepting the order that is a FAKE and they let you return it to the seller. Report it!

Ask for pictures before buying. If the seller is selling original items they wont have any problem taking pics to prove you their item is AUTHENTIC.

@juliemking you welcome.. im just tired of seeing fae ones sold as authentic.
If its fake they should say so. Not tricking people onto buying fake ones. We never know what they put in this palettes.
Btw. You can easily tell if its fake or not just by the brush!!

@haley_hernandez there's a lot like that. Same thing with the brushes. You can see people selling "URBAN DECAY NAKED BRUSHES" and they are from the wholesale chinese web alibabaxpres. Each one of those brushes are 26 and here they sell a whole set for 35. And people fall for that.
I told a girl wat she purchased was fake and she ended up believing the seller....

Thanks for the info, I guess I recently got ripped off and didn't know that they were fake, so now I'm out money and have 2 palettes that I can't sell as real. I am so new to the name brand authenticity, I recently got ripped off with fake Michael kors bags too, I must really be a stupid sucker to keep falling for this. Thanks for the post and I hope to find other postings to help us tell the difference between genuine and fake!

@dalu95 hey I just bought a naked 2 palette everything looked good until I looked at the box and it was missing the 4 swatches on the back. She also has sold others so I'm worried she's selling fakes. Is missing swatches on the box a sure fire fake?

@dalu95 I did email poshmark to at least try and see what they could do but if anything shut her down. She has several listings selling several of the naked 2 and 3 pallettes so they've got to be fake. And none of them have pictures of the back of the box. So frustrating!

@haley_hernandez I'm dealing with the same thing right now. The gal sold me two that are fake. When I called it out she sent me a message saying hi be ruined her whole poshmark experience. Then I'm left wondering how she's now the victim when she sold me fake stuff!? So frustrating.

Can you please help me? I purchased Naked 2 Urban Decay BASICS from another Posher. I just received it today ( I have not accepted it on Posh yet) but I'm afraid it's fake. The case is so much darker than the first one I bought at Ulta. What do I do? Am I just out the money I paid for it?
