Is this a dark brown color? I realize at times people use their flash which lightens the pictures. Also how wide is the strap? Measurements of the bag & strap please? Thank you

I can't come down on the bag. Yes I love it! It's real leather and Absolutely no tears. Small water mark on bottom. I just don't wear purses anymore so that's why I'm willing to depart :(
