Real MCM Hawaiian Beach Puka

A simple and lovely piece, this puka was crafted long ago in Hawaii. Gathered with care, it’s remarkably well matched for a beach piece with rare petite white shells, bleached from the sunshine, even, with just enough variation to give testament to its natural beginnings. A nice piece for a minimal, elegant look. True Vintage, quite early, we are looking at 50’s or 60’s on this one, inexpertly strung on fishing line and finished with a truly outstanding brass barrel clasp. From a time before Hawaii’s beaches were picked clean, the rolled lip puka shells are of a very high quality with a wonderful patina overall.
