Real Framed exotic Cyclommatus metallifer beetle

This stunning metallic golden bronze Stag beetle is a looker with its huge mandibles. This beetle is featured in a 5″x7″ black shadow box frame and mounted on a museum style background that is acid and lignin free. The genus, species and country of origin is scripted below the specimen. The Cyclommatus looks to be lethal to humans but their enlarged mandibles are used for scuffing the surfaces of bark so that they can feed on tree sap, or to fight other males for mates. The larger the mandibles the larger chances of them winning a fight. These specimens were both farm raised and responsible sourced.
