lauren529 Made in China? These are fake. Authentic ray bans say made in Italy.

shanevincent67 @lauren529 Actually this model RB3293 is authentic. I went through this about 3 years ago when I purchased a pair from a local optical shop when I was having a pair of glasses repaired. The optician was not aware of this either. We both confirmed it with the Luxottica representative. For whatever reason they are made in China. They can be checked for authenticity by the initials RB

shanevincent67 imprinted on each of the nose pads and the size 59-14 imprinted on the lower bridge. Check it out the forums on the Luxottica website. This is true several Ray-Ban models. When B&L sold Ray-Ban to Luxottica they didn't immediately send all the manufacturing to Italy. If you find a pair made in USA they are over 15 years old.

shanevincent67 @lauren529 Yes ma'am I know. The seller believes they are fake. I'm just passing along the information. If I am going to make a counterfeit pair of Ray-Ban that are this good, with etching that is identical to to all other Ray-Bans. Don't you believe I could replace China with Italy? Plus. The easiest way to determine if any of these are authentic is the lenses, 99 percent of fakes have plastic lenses or "polycarbonate". Ray-Ban use only glass.
