This amazing necklace is crafted by a Navajo Artist; Ray Tafoya. Ray created silver jewelry, pottery and miniatures. He was active 1976-1994, Santa Clara Pueblo. This necklace is a true work of very fine craftsmanship. The bench beads are all hand crafted and very smooth, no rough edges what so ever. This necklace features two sizes of bench beads 8 mm & 10 mm. the two sizes are separated by the elongated center beads which feature hand stamping and 14K gold. The clasp is a hook and loop which is finished by sterling cones. The center piece of this necklace is the large bailed pendant featuring the popular Kokopelli dancer with instrument. This necklace also comes with the original matching Kokopelli earrings which are also made of sterling silver and 14k gold. Both the necklace and earrings have their original patina. This is a wonderfully crafted very high quality piece. It is hallmarked on the back RT 14K Sterling. We date this necklace from the 1990s.
