Rarotonga Pupu Spiral Shell Lei

A lovely Polynesian lei with unexpected stations of coveted striped shells. Moving easily, it moves with you, dancing and gently chiming! True Vintage, quite old, probably 1920’s to 1940’s, based on stringing. Cotton cord still holding well. Carries the scent of perfume. In good vintage condition with a few broken shells, but overall has handled the years with grace. This was well loved. Stored in a smoke free home, will be sent with great care.
