Original box 2003 model A1040 iPod 3rd generation. Has original box and upgraded infrared dock with remote. Has to be reset to factory standard per Poshmark Policy, so all the songs and any info will be gone.

Very good condition. Back shows scratching but front click turn wheel and display look great. The front and sides have a faint scuffing that only shows in certain lighting. Screen is bright and clean.
Included: box, power adapter, cable, wired remote control, remote control dock station (Genuine Apple but not original issue) - NO manual.
Works great. Menu items and settings work. Backlight and click noise toggle. Box has wear and a couple of tears. Inside storage compartments are good. Apple genuine product model number A1018. Cord has yellowing from age, toggle still working.
All accessories also working as well.
It is working and charging as it should. Sold as is.

What is the battery life? Does it have a new battery or the original?

@danlorch22 Thank you for the question. Still has original battery. I’m going to have to look at it and see what charge it keeps. I haven’t been using it so I’m not familiar with its battery life.

@myhusky4 $250 would be ideal. I realize that is low compared to what you have it listed at. I just know they have battery issues sometimes so I am anticipating having to get that replaced.

@danlorch22 I guess the ones I see out there for sale was mostly what I was going with when I priced this. I honestly didn’t think it was one that would be used in real life, but more of a collector’s market item. I am willing to come down but that $250 is a bit low. There are a few out there for less without the original box and other items, if you are looking at it for just playing music.
