Leave a comment below! such an unbelievable friend I didn’t know that this paper was inside here all these years so the name of the gentleman who collected the show was Dr. EUGENE P WIGHTMAN. Read the whole article to see his history. He retired at 83 from Kodiak in 1954 and he started reading the books on shells and he got hooked like all of us so this is from his collection and the article is called the old shelf. We’re guessing the article came from about 1972 but we’re not positive so the shell in the picture is not the shell that I’m selling. This is one is helmet shell. It’s extremely old came from Florida.its a big speciman I’ll be listing many more form these shell collections in the future
