Rare Vintage Steinbach Nutcracker Chubby

Steinbach is one of the best names in collectible nutcrackers - and this little fellow really shows the quality that made Steinbach famous. This nutcracker was purchased in 2000 and has been in its box ever since - it has never been put on display. It was handmade in Germany and is marked "Original Steinbach Volkskunst Germany" on the base. He wears a multi-colored scarf that matches his shiny green-and-blue plaid tam and stands approximately 11" tall. He would be a wonderful addition to any collection. He comes with a hang tag. I'm not sure the box is for this particular figure, but it is the box I was given when it was purchased.
