Rare Vintage Pumps, Floral Design, Saks Fifth Avenue

This listing is for a beautiful pair of shoe art! Gorgeous 1960s heels by Beth Levine. The floral pattern is so vibrant and stunning. There’s really hardly any wear. There’s a small spot on the one heel as pictured. I had a hard time not keeping them. These shoes were created designer is Beth Levine, wife to Harry Levine. She is credited with the reintroduction of boots to the fashion world in the 1960s. These are a pair of her floral shoes. Saks Fifth Ave had to open a section in their stores called “Beth’s Bootery”. Beth Levine is cited as America’s most important footwear designer, and top female footwear designer worldwide, of the 20th century. Her celebrity clients included Marilyn Monroe, Ava Gardner, Barbra Streisand, Lauren Bacall, Liza Minelli, and Cher. So definitely something special! A beautiful piece of fashion history!
