Very Rare Vintage (Circa late 1980's) New Hohner Harmonica 270/48 C Chromonica 48 3 Oktaven 12 hole made in Germany. This Hohner Harmonica was purchased brand new for me in around the later 1980's give or take a few years. I have never used it so it remains in brand new pristine condition. I was put away in my climate-controlled closet where I keep many of my more valued possessions. Since after almost 4 decades and I have never used it I figured it's time to let someone else enjoy this rare musical instrument. Octave tuned harmonicas have double holes each containing two blow holes or draw reeds tuned an octave apart. The resulting sound is stronger and full-bodied. Tremolo harmonicas have double holes each containing two reeds tuned to the same note, one tuned slightly higher than the other. Both reeds are either blow or draw. It creates a beautiful vibrating tremolo effect. Diatonic Harmonics (Richter-System) The reeds of diatonic harmonicas are tuned to produce the natural notes of the scale without sharps or flats.
