This exquisite vintage Margot de Taxco by Alba snake necklace & earrings set is rare. - Alba is short for Jaime Quiroz Alba, a silversmith who worked for Margot de Taxco in her studio in Taxco, Mexico; a jewelry studio which utilized meticulous silver & enamel production techniques. - Margot's iconic & award-winning snake design from the 1950's was recreated by Alba in the 1980's. - Both the necklace & earrings are made of 925 sterling silver with blue & red enamel. - 925 is engraved on each piece, along with ALBA (as seen in the photos). - Dimensions: necklace approx. 17"L x .75"W (snakehead is wider than necklace about 1"W), earrrings approx. 1.5"L x 1"W - The very few other similar sets available for sale are selling for $2300-$3800. - Please don't hesitate to make an offer.
