*Rare* Vintage Dexter Tobacco Knife Wood Handle 9" Farm Tool Collectible

*Rare* Vintage Dexter Tobacco Knife Wood Handle 9" Farm Tool Collectible. I'm having trouble dating it. Russell-Dexter made a very similar knife in the 40's, but the logo was different. It also doesn't have an item number anywhere, so it makes me think it may be older or come from a time when Russell-Dexter was going through one of its changes. If you have any info on it, I'd love to hear it! The handle is sturdy and strong, no looseness. Lightweight and nicely rounded corners, feels good in the hand. Blade is sharp as heck...on both sides, with the tip intact. There are 2 knicks on the outside of the blade, both small and some minor pitting (see pics). I was going to wash off the residue on the handle, but when I rubbed it, it smelled like a tobacco plant... I liked it, so I left it. You can restore it if that's your thing. The item in the photos is the actual item you will receive. Most of our items are vintage (at least 20 years old) and/or pre-owned, so some imperfections may exist. Please inspect pictures carefully.
