Rare Vintage 1950 Large Czech Murano Blown Art Glass Clown Figure Figurine ZBS

Wonderful vintage original Czech Bohemian Zelezny Brod School of Art glass hand lampworked circus clown figurine. Železnobrodské figurines are highly respected worldwide for their artistic ingenuity and the skill required to model them. Design by Professor Jaroslav Brychta, who is regarded as one of the most influential glass designers of the 20th Century. Handmade and in typical ZBS style with individual lampworked sections of glass, the figurine features a colorful design that showcases the skill of the artisan who created it. With a height of 8 inches and a width of 3.25 inches , it features a crystal cased slab base, blue eyes and hat, yellow hair, and large orange buttons. Offered in very good vintage condition, with minor losses and restorations to wrist/fingers, as shown at pictures. Dating to the 1950's, it is perfect for display and will be a conversation starter for any enthusiast.
