Rare Victorian ostrich feather hat , late 1800s into the 1900s . “My fair lady “

I never thought I would offer this for sale . It’s a gorgeous hat and in pristine condition . I’m 55 and I’ve never come across another even close to this. It’s a soft Straw mesh underneath it’s tiered . Not sure it that’s the right wording for what that’s called , wicker maybe ? I don’t honestly know the difference . It’s strong and in no place coming apart. It was made well . Ok so far it has fit everyone’s head that has ever tried it on , it never looked to big or to small. It fits me too. Most vintage hats run small, this one is so normal for our day and time in hat sizes. I will measure it and add that to the listing . Sorry. The feathers are so nice ! Ostrich, all black and white all org feathers . I don’t even think I look good In Hats but this one everyone looks great In . The perfect Kentucky derby hat ! I was always a “ my fair lady” fan so this one was it for me ! I haven’t used it in a long time. I’ve had it since I was 18 . I’m boring now in my old age lol I think it’s crazy to just let it sit and never get seen ! It deserve to be viewed and to be enjoyed ! Great for reenactments , costume parties
