This is one if the most intriguing pieces I’ve ever owned. I lived in Japan before, but didn’t get this there; my dad took a trip to Korea while in the Air Force, so maybe it was him. Researching, I found out it’s 1980s b/c Korea did majority of work like this for top brand designers internationally for Ralph Lauren, Donna Karen, etc. They handmade this piece patiently with love. Crazy amounts of detail in the stitch work, even down to the buttons!! There’s a couple stains, but awesome.

isobel45007 @baap48 Do you mean about the price for this handmade jacket? It’s a vintage jacket that I’ve done some research on, and unfortunately I didn’t find another one that looks like this one. What I wrote in the details is what I found when I researched the RN#. So I priced it at $1500 and I’m also still deciding if I’m going to sell it too. I was hoping that maybe someone on Poshmark might have some info. Do you have any information about this jacket?

baap48 @isobel45007 I used to see the jackets years ago all the time in downtown Manhattan. They sold the pants,skirts,shirts coats. Made in China.

isobel45007 @baap48 Okay, this particular jacket was made in the Republic of Korea. My father was in the Air Force so we moved every 3 years. When we lived in Okinawa, Japan in the 1980s my father and 2 of my sisters were lucky enough to get to go to Korea for a week so he may have bought it then.
