The turn of the 20th century saw America’s transition into the modern era. That came with several cultural shifts, including how the American public saw their coinage. This collectible duo includes two iconic coins, the Liberty Nickel and the Silver Barber Dime. The Liberty Head nickel, sometimes referred to as the V nickel because of it's reverse design, is a five-cent piece. It was struck for circulation in 1883 until 1912. The obverse features a left-facing image of the goddess of Liberty. In 1892, the classic Seated Liberty design was replaced with a now-iconic design by Chief Engraver Charles E. Barber, the Silver Barber Dime. This dime features an intricate Lady Liberty on the obverse and a wreath-encircled “ONE DIME” denomination on the reverse. It was struck for circulation in 1892 until 1916. The circulated coins will vary between dates of issue, and come mounted in a hard acrylic stackable case (5.25" x 3.25") with a certificate of authenticity.
