Rare Signed Bushong MCM Tapestry

Robert Bushong (1922-1995) studied at the Museum School in Boston and the Worchester Art Museum School with Walter Gropius. He enjoyed a successful commercial art career in New York City and was one of many artists who designed works for the Tom Tru Corporation. This stable of artists contracted by Tom Tru created all manner of wall art which was distributed by Raymor Imports (1941-1980) which was founded by Irving Richards and located in Lambertville, New Jersey. Rare and beautiful serigraph/silkscreen on linen, by Robert Bushong of Tom Tru Studios. Bushong was the principal artist and designer. The piece is SIGNED! The rich teal color that dominates the work is even more stunning in person, our photos are unable to do it justice. The work is framed for hanging with pressed walnut strips and an embedded fish line hanger. All is secure, sturdy and ready to display.
