💥Rare💥 Richards & Hartley Glass Co. Amber Glass Kitten Toothpick Holder

This rare, very clean, display-ready, Antique Estate piece is in mint condition. It came from a larger collection of several different glass making Houses: Imperial, Fenton, Northwood, Richards and Hartley, and Kemple Glass Companies. The Houses were known for their novelty tableware and competed against one another throughout the ninetieth and twentieth centuries. Base “Kitten on a Pillow" The cat is lying on a pillow, with a daisy and button designed cup on its legs. The tail acts like a handle. The entire piece is heavily textured and beautifully executed. The item was produced in the mid-1880s by Richards & Hartley Glass Company.
