Rare Peter Max Original Vintage Skirt

Presented here is a beautiful skirt from the late 1960’s / early 1970’s. The iconic Peter Max vibrant fabric is a fabulous example of this era. Peter Max’s art was influential throughout this era in the realm of the psychedelic movement and culture in design. The design has pink, orange, yellow, blue, and green flowers and shapes against a white background. The Peter Max logo signature is in written in black on a pink oval throughout the fabric design. The skirt was hand-stitched. In the 1960’s and 1970’s, pattern designing was the rage. This particular piece exemplifies the iconic artist’s creativity from this era. The has an 8 inch long zipper up the skirt to close it. The waist of the skirt is 30 inches. The hip of the skirt is 42 inches. The total length of the skirt is 20.5 inches. This skirt is an excellent piece of fashion as well as design history that represents the era beautifully.
