Rare MayB ring with sapphire

I am calling this ring rare because I had a heck of a time finding any references on the internet. I bought this stainless steel and sapphire ring at a Charlotte & Tipit store in the early 2000’s. The band is a comfort fit style with the stone tension set in it. The outside was brushed to give a satin finish in the store. It’s about a size 6.5. I don’t know if the sapphire is genuine or a synthetic stone. There are some scratches but they should able to be polished out pretty easily. Definitely a unique ring. (Box not included)
