Very rare knit sweater with wing shoulder design manufactured by Jantzen Marshall Field & Co during the 1940s. Tag states size 42 but it is much smaller by today's standards. Lying flat, it measures about 19" armpit to armpit, 24" top shoulder to bottom seam, and has 24" long sleeves -shoulder to end. Sadly, it has quite a bit of damage throughout, shown in photos. Material is believed to be wool. ♥️💙
