I love this little clutch / crossbody but I just don’t seem to reach for shiny patent leather, as it has just stayed in its dust bag. I was so disappointed that Hammitt discontinued this style many years ago…it can be worn as a crossbody, carried as a clutch or tossed in a larger bag and used as your wallet. I used this bag only once for a date night. It is in very good preloved condition. It has a couple of very faint scratches likely from that evening out. There is also a faint crease/indentation from storage…I think it was caused by the strap somehow pushing up against the bag within the dust bag. There are also some tiny round indentations from the hang tag chain that was attracted to the magnet on the back of the bag which is obviously not visible when wearing it against your body. I have already removed the hang tag from the dust bag so no further indentations occur. I would suggest storing the strap separately or carefully folded up to the side. It’s a gorgeous bag and the indentation on the front is not very noticeable because of the shininess of the patent leather and I actually think it will be even less noticeable when the bag has been filled with ID, cards or if you put your phone in the center etc. I have included photos above for reference.
