Rare Frankart Bookends

This is a fabulous art deco era set of Frankart Bookends, believed to be Scottish Terriers. The bookends are about 6" high and 4 1/2" wide, likely made in the 1920's or 1930's. They are signed as shown in the last two pics with the Frankart stamping and the patent applied for stamping. They are in overall great condition with only some minor surface wear notably on one ear. Please look over the pictures as they will come as they are shown here ... I'm always afraid I might miss something! The felted bottom on one is more worn than the other. The silvery finish is apparently a rare shade for this pair. They fit with both Art Deco and Mid Century Modern styling and are gorgeous!
