Rare vintage Dufex foil print by Mabel Lucie Attwell. Mabel Lucie Attwell (June 4, 1879-November 5, 1964) was a well-known British illustrator of adorable children. Printed in England. Dufex Prints, F J Warren Ltd, Hutchinson Herts. Print is 6”x8”. Frame made in Mexico. Frame is solid, gold foil is flaking off the sides. ‘Elevenses’ is informal British meaning ‘a short break for light refreshments, usually with tea or coffee, taken about eleven o’ clock in the morning.
