Rare Disneyland Resort Paradise Pier shirt is most likely a staff uniform. I got this shirt about used around 2001-2003 just about the time when the part of Disneyland in California Adventure that had a Beach Boardwalk theme reminiscent of the one in Santa Cruz and Santa Monica, was built. It says "Paradise Pier" on the back in embroidery. Since then, DIsneyland has changed the name to Pixar Pier so this is collector's item. This shirt was virtually new when I bought it. Perhaps someone worked for Disneyland for a week and then donated it. *Unisex
PRICE IS FIRM - no trades on this
It may have come from the hotel in the park and worn by an employee as a posher has told me in the comments but it is still more the 20 years old and extremely rare. It may even be worn by an hotel employee before Disneyland became a resort!- thanks @matthooper88 ๐

Note: This is a Disney uniform shirt I assume and so not sure what the regulations are about selling it. I have done much research on this topic and feel that as it is now more then 15 years old, it should be fine to sell it. No where on the shirt does it state that it has to be returned back to the park by staff employees. As this is indeed a rare find, I will not be accepting any offers on this shirt, at least for a while.

You cannot get this shirt at a regular Disney store. It has elaborate embroidery on the back. There are also serious collectors who collect rare items like this. I will do some more research but I am clearly aware how much items like this go for on eBay.

Check out this shirt for sale on Poshmark that has elaborate embroidery and was actually sold through the Disney store for $125. It is not even as rare as this item is! web link below-

I suggest that you check other people's prices on Disney shirts and yes, if other people agree with you, I may lower the price. But as I shown and if you look up similar shirts online, you would find that this price is average. It is extremely rare and is Paradise Pier still around? I wonder as there is Cars Land and the new Star Wars land. But no. I disagree. $50 would be ridiculously low for this item.

I accept everyone has an opinion in pricing but as a seller, I have the right to sell items as a price I choose. That is my decision just like it is the buyer's decision to buy an item. I stated that I will not accept offers at this time as I want to wait and see how popular this item is. But eventually, I may be inclined to lower the price.

I do research as I always do and look into the average asking price for similar items here on Poshmark, ebay, Amazon and other websites. This shirt, I could not find for sale anywhere used online. It is that rare! So, my starting price is $100 and then I will go from there.

I may even have the only one available for sale. I know the value of these rare items but I am a reasonable seller. If you can find the exact shirt somewhere else online for sale (I doubt} esp. for less, by all means show me and I will lower the price. Eventually, someone will buy it.

As I have realized how extremely rare this shirt is - cannot be found for sale anywhere on line and the name of Paradise Pier has now been changed to Pixar Pier, price has risen considerably. But logically so as it is rare and vintage nostalgia. But by all means, I consider offers and if you can actually find this shirt online (that is if you can!) and for less, I will go lower on the price.

Paradise Pier is a Disneyland Hotel. This is a cast member shirt for one of the hotel employees

@matthooper88 back in early 2000 the location now called Pixar Pier was indeed called Paradise Pier. The shirt does not say โhotelโ on it. It could be perhaps from the hotel but still most likely still from early 2000 when there was a Paradise Pier.

@matthooper88 I do recall getting it sometime around 2001-2003 which was when the beach themed boardwalk section of Disneyโs California section of Disneyland Resort was called Paradise Pier. But I do not know anything about itโs history so thank you. You could be right. ๐

It is very cool. The hotel was called Paradise pier as well as the Disney themed land, so this went in conjunction with the hotel and the part of the park. The hotel actually opened in 1984
