swanonair I measured about 22.5” max drop for the strap – plenty for crossbody. I wear only crossbodies and would never buy a shoulder-only bag. If you double the strap, the drop is about 12 ¼” which is def shoulder length. I’m not sure how Coach measured to get their number.
