Rare Burleigh Asiatic Pheasants Commemorative Prince William & Catherine Mug

A Limited Edition Burleigh William & Catherine Mug celebrating their nuptials in 2011 This particular shape has a union jack shaped handle and was originally produced in 1936 for the jubilee of George V and Queen Mary. The decoration is based on the Asiatic Pheasant pattern - the pheasant is a symbol of nobility, furtune & beauty in Chinese culture. Asiatic Pheasants backstamp to base along with wording: 'To celebrate the marriage of Prince Willian and Catherine Middleton 29thy April 2011.'
