Rare Antique Indian Elephant Box

Wonderful bohemian vibes on this handmade mahogany box from India. Painted in a sari folk art manner with persimmon red & apple green with pink flowers, all cottage & chippy! Wood is thick & worn smooth inside from age. It’s heavy, weighing 1.5 pounds. Length 5 3/4 Width 4 3/4 Height 4 1/2 Deep enough to hold a bracelet collection! 1920’s with heavy vintage patina. At 100 years old it’s doing great, but please check pics carefully & ask questions to be certain it’s true love.
