johntanttari @terter62 I'll tell you ahead of time, they are slow to sell. really the all silver Kennedy can be a 15k coin, ive got a all silver quarter they didn't out a mouth on and it's been for sale for 6 yrs. I did sell a 25cent piece for 80 2 weeks ago though the site valued it at 200. I just try to remind myself it's real worth is face value,

johntanttari you seem like me honestly, and I'd just pull out what is special to you and put it in a airtight something, price the coins close to the book value and be willing to go through a heck of a negotiation. either I wake up and someone bought something or ill have 10 back n forth before they do. this is a good place w alot of nice good ppl though, when I started this I was on 6 sales sites and I only use poshmark now.

johntanttari just because of the ppl and how poshmark will back up the seller and customers as well as truly look I to any case rather than just make a decision. it's it's good place to be. but Jamie is my coin king he's a cool dude you'll find his insight way better than mine when it comes to coins I had abunch, still do have a safe full and he helped me learn another hint is watch for when he does shows he's got a big coin following and he'll let you share in his shows and even promote you and your items. 😉

johntanttari no sir, 1964 was the year they transferred from solid silver to silver clad in the middle of that yr..only 2 mints kept making solid silver. this is one including every other 1964 Kennedy that I own or they would stick to magnets too. thank you for stopping by my closet and happy poshing 🌞

cheezenibbler69
cheezenibbler69 @johntanttari No genuine US coin sticks to a magnet and no 1964 half dollars are “solid silver” (they are 90% silver 10% copper) nor are any silver clad (that was 1965-1970). Technically it would be true to say that only 2 mints continued to make “solid silver” halves but that’s ts only due to the fact that only two mints produced half dollars in 1964. I don’t care if you sell this coin for an absurd amount of money but please don’t spread misinformation about coins.
