@jshs1994 there is no mint stamp, then the word united is overlayed with the rim of the quarter

@crystal_dunaway I don't mean to burst your bubble, but no mint-mark means it came from Philadelphia, which most of the 68s came from, so that actually lowers the value of a 68. And the lack of space between the edge and the letters in this quarter could just as easily be considered regular wear.
One irregularity that is known to exist with 1968 quarters is that the Denver mint mark could be filled in, so the "D" mark appears more like a dot.
