Rare 1963 'Hurly Burly & The Kights' by Milton Rugoff

Rare 1963 vintage hardback. 'Hurly Burly and the Knights' by: Milton Rugoff! Adapted from the original Italian, printed in italy, and bound in the U.S.A. The pages are in excellent crisp condition with vibrant illustrations throughout! The hardback cover has seen wear and restoration. At some point prior to my acquisition, it seems the cover had come off and was re-attached via the packing tape method. This left the spine corners vulnerable to extra wear. I undid half of that bandaid job and reinforced the spine/cover using proper ph balanced book binding glue. The fade along the front spine was caused by the acid in the packing tape eating at the clear coat that many hardbacks have. There is only one piece of tape remaining along the back inner cover seam. I did not want to risk damage attempting further restoration, although I'm sure more can be done for this beautiful piece! Please see photos and video for further details!
