Rare 1960's Vintage Ladybug Sleeveless Striped Dress - Excellent Condition

RARE! It's doubtful you'll see anyone else wearing this absolutely adorable vintage 1960's red, white, and blue striped dress. This dress was part of an ensemble with a matching two piece swimsuit for a vacation in the Catskills (yes...like in Dirty Dancing lol). You had to dress appropriately for the dining room, so this was a dress to slip on over your swimsuit. Lovingly stored, it's in excellent condition with colors vivid. It looks like it was purchased yesterday - not so long ago! There are two small faint rust spots on the inside collar flap and edge, probably from a metal hanger. There are also two small breaks in inside stitching that are original to the garment (see last photo). V-neck with flattering darts at the bust, featuring double breasted closure with four cute white buttons and an overlap skirt. Typical of vintage clothing, there's no fabric label. It's a quality look/feel fabric possibly a heavier weight cotton or cotton blend. Very nice. It's been machine washed warm water with Tide with no problem. It comes out of the wash exactly as shown - no ironing needed! See photos for measurements. This is a beautiful piece.
