Rare 1960s Morabito Paris Clutch

This is a gorgeous Morabito Paris satin clutch with blue toned jeweled and gold tone clasp. The Morabito brand was founded by Jean-Baptise Morabito in Nice in 1905. He began the business as a jewelry atelier and started making evening bags during the famed Belle Epoque era in France. Over its storied years, the luxury brand continues to create high quality products and has called celebrities like Marilyn Monroe one its clients. Today, the company still operates out of Paris. This 1960s black bag combines Morabito’s love of jewels and handbags and features a unique clasp which is something the brand is known for. The round, sky blue jewels have a marble design set inside each jewel. There are two interior pockets. So stunning. Condition - Very good Measurements: Length - 8” Height - 6”
