The Good-
*No tears in the silk velvet exterior fabric of the jacket itself
*no overwhelming smells
*no moth damage.
*Still has some of the original buttons, and the original corded loops for fastening.
* Could be worn if repaired but would also make a wonderful display or pattern piece
Problems-
Exterior-
* missing multiple buttons- one detached button is in the front pocket
* cuffs have mostly detached- must be resewn on.
* very slight fading on top of collar to deep brown
* very slight vintage smell
* missing original tags
Lining
The lining is destroyed and must be completely replaced
you do not want it against your skin for safety reasons- not even for the length of a photo shoot.
