The back features a "car venting" and gives at least a couple of inches more for the hip area. Ample tie belt with plenty of room to tie a loose know or cute bow. Adorable black/white dot lining. I would think this jacket would be water repellent so good for misty, foggy, sprinkles, but not a heavy downpour as the fabric is not water resistant. This jacket will be a staple for cool-ish mornings that lead to warmer afternoons and for those gross weather days.
