Stunning, Ralph Lauren men's camel hair coat, size 38 Short. Hardly warn and looks brand new! No stains or marks anywhere. A new 100% camel hair coat will run you $3,000+! Has never been tailored- sleeves are 24 inch from the edge of the shoulder down. Length is 43 inch from the T-seam on the back. It does seem to run large to accommodate a suit underneath. It may be better suited for someone who normally wears a 40 or 42. Gorgeous color & looks super expensive in person & up close.

adamhorn8 This isn’t Ralph Lauren. It’s Lauren Ralph Lauren which is an entirely different company that bought the name rights. They call this “green label” which is the lowest quality of Ralph Lauren products

lej278 "Chaps" is actually RL's "lowest" line. Quality of an item is not determined by the line. If you view www.ralphlauren.com you will see that the only 100% pure camel hair coat for men is under the "Polo Ralph Lauren" line & costs $2,495.00 Polo Ralph Lauren line, a.k.a the blue label, falls beneath the purple label, beneath the black label, & beneath the Double RL label! This is a gorgeous, distinguishing coat. It is priced to sell & you literally can't find a comparative coat on their site.

ryrhodes I worked at a Polo factory store at an outlet mall for several years. Your coat is not priced to sell. Try lowering the price by at least $150

lej278 @ryrhodes They never sold this coat at their outlet stores, but having worked at one I'm sure you now have an appreciation, and eye, for fine, quality clothing. Perhaps that's what drew you to this listing in the first place. I considered your suggestion and took the time to double check my original statement regarding price.

lej278 To my surprise, the two Purple label camel hair coats on the Ralph Lauren website (these are the only men's camel hair coats on the site as of this writing) are now selling for $7,995.00!!! Just so you and others don't think it's a typo, I took a screenshot and added it to the listing.

lej278 You can discount that price as much as you want to take into account that this coat is not Purple label and that it has been ever so slightly worn (though you'd never know it), and it's still ridiculously cheap. In fact, in light of this newfound knowledge (thank you inflation) I'd be silly not to consider raising the price.
