ellenvil @wylieglenn Yes, the clochette contains the key. And I just learned a new word. As for the box, I will Have to check to see if I still have it. I could Probably get one from Saks to accommodate the bag if I don't have the original. But I'll check and get back to you. It is such a beautiful Handbag.

ellenvil @wylieglenn I am happy to learn new terminology. Truly. The bag is black. And you're in luck that after quite a search I found the box in a little used closet along with the plaid ribbon Ralph Lauren uses to tie around the gift boxes.

Unfortunately, I found this bag in very similar condition through a website that sells preauthenticated handbags for about $1200 cheaper. I appreciate your time and efforts but unfortunately I cannot justify the difference in price.
