Now that Cone Mills has permanently closed their White Oak denim plant, jeans made with this fabric are true collector’s items. Japanese selvage denim fabric is still being produced, but no new American selvage denim fabric is being made. You can find jeans made in the USA with Japanese selvage denim fabric, but it is increasingly rare to find jeans made with American selvage denim fabric. These jeans will wear in beautifully over time while not losing their durability. They are in a dark rinsed finish with minimal artificial abrasion.
