tra2020 @smlamon63b sorry for the delay. I'm not sure what the shade type is called but it has the open circle where it attaches to the lamp. If you look at the picture closely you will see a piece that has scalloped edges. That screws off, you put the shade on, screw the scalloped piece down over the "circle" and then put the lightbulb in.
