It's hard to scratch the watch it has some buffing on the bottom braclet just from wear and tear and a little fading on the gold part of the bracelet Buckle but scratches no especially on the crystal which are Sapphire almost scratch proof it's made of a ceramic material like the space shuttle. that's very durable I've worked on cars with it
