RUNNING Vintage Women's Clinton 17 Jewels Gold-Toned Wristwatch

This vintage American-made timepiece sports a smart and compact style that’s timeless. Made by the Clinton Watch Co., the tiny face's Arabic numerals, hands and crystal are in Like-New condition. It was recently wound and is running well (although servicing is recommended). Its case (about 15mm) is verified Stainless Steel (stamped); there is also a base metal bezel stamp on its back. The watch also has a unique and verified wildly-popular vintage Speidel Twist-O-Flex stretchable metal bracelet band. This gem was likely made in the 1960s, per the wristwatch’s petiteness; however, its historical watchmaker began making timepieces in the 1920s after emigrating from Russia and founding its company in Chicago. Clinton also began a famous watch repair school for immigrants about ten years later. While this bracelet band and case show feint signs of wear from its original shinier gold-toned appearance, this tiny powerhouse is a big must-have for historical timepiece collectors.
