sharlovesalex @alwaysmuzik Aww, thanks! It's still hotter than bejeezus in SoCal, but I'm not supposed to expose my skin to the sun while in chemo, so these light Lennons will come in handy! sharlovesalex @cburdelle Hi Cora! So nice to meet you. Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words. I appreciate them. Yes, unfortunately breast cancer is not picky. I wish it was. Cancer was certainly never ever on my radar, as no one in either side of my family has ever had cancer - I'm the first! I'm also triple negative and BRCA1 positive, which explains HOW I got cancer so young. Didn't make me feel better, but at least it gave me an explanation!

Ive met some amazing young women in the past few months...some younger than I am, that have survived, so I know I can do this. I have to! I've got a young son that needs me. So even when it's hard and knowing all my body will have to endure besides the chemo, I've just got to stick with it, ya know? Thanks again so much for leaving me a comment. forrestsnowcat I am taken away by your courage to go through what you are going through. I just said a prayer while looking at your picture for God to strengthen you and heal you completely. I fell in 2016 and am permanently disabled. I can walk but some days are a struggle and there is always pain. But, for me, there is promise in my pain. I’ve learned who God is, who I am, and the space I fit in life and what really matters. Hugs! 😘💕💕💕

jenscloset01 Girl! I know that battle all too well. I finished the last of my treatments in Sept 2017. Chemo, radiation, double mastectomy, and recon surgery. Still have to decide on the ovariectomy, currently on the Zoladex shot. Just keep fighting, one day at a time. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. You've got this!

Fortunately I was able to get it covered because it’s medically necessary for me (I have a genetic mutation so the likelihood of me getting cancer again was very high). I’m sorry they wouldn’t do the hysterectomy for you. I just had the surgery last week. It’s a tough surgery and very strange/odd recuperating from this as opposed to mastectomy.
