ROSENTHAL GERMANY PORCELAIN DACHSHUND PUPPY BY THEODOR KARNER

Theodore Karner (1884-1966) of Rosenthal Germany porcelain Dachshund puppy figurine. This piece is marked on the base with the Rosenthal stamp and the artist's name , along with model number 1247. This piece is circa 1944. It measures approximately 6" in height, 6.5" across from his outstretched paw to the back of the base, and 4.25" across the base from front to back. The detail and paint work are absolutely beautiful. When you see this piece, your hand almost without thought wants to touch it. I find myself petting him even while I write this description!
