ROBERT ALLISON SCOTTISH STERLING SILVER SWORD PIN BROOCH, 3.25"

This exquisite sterling silver sword brooch was crafted by the Scottish silversmith Robert Allison in 1991. The diminutive sword exhibits intricate detailing on the handle's grip and guard. It measures approximately 3.25" in length, 1" in width, and weighs 8 grams (0.2 ounces). The brooch is in good pre-owned condition with some tarnish and light surface scratches. The pin back and closure are fully functional. Allison's RA hallmark and the Edinburgh 1991 mark (a lion, castles, and the letter R) are somewhat worn but still visible. Although the brooch is not explicitly marked as sterling, it has tested positive. This is a delightful piece for the sword enthusiast or fantasy lover! Please look closely at all photos. Adding to the charm and character of the piece it is 1000% normal to have signs of wear, use and age. I do my best to precisely and truthfully describe all of my found vintage items and will always note ANY flaws like cracks, chips, missing pieces, abnormal wear, stains and repairs that I see. I do miss some things sometimes.  But I promise I do try to examine the vintage piece in every kind of light possible.
